Dining

Masterful chefs blend the freshest local produce with international know-how to create stunning dishes throughout each venue. Choose between dining with a glorious view out over the bay at Sense On The Edge, enjoying an alfresco lunch or dinner at the Summer House, delighting in delicacies from the culinary world of Arabia for breakfast or a communal and interactive seven-course dining experience at Spice Market. Trust the team to plan a private dinner for you in one of the many stunning locations on-site. For more casual dining, enjoy the Mezzeria and Shua Shack. Treat yourself to cocktails at Zighy Bar or an intimate wine tasting at Wine Cellar.

Experiences

Adventure seekers have a plethora of choices whether they want to soar through the air in the form of paragliding or microlight flights; race through the sea on a speedboat, water ski or tube out of the back of the boat; clamber through the rocks by 4 wheel drive, climbing or hiking. Keep fit with the water sports centre, play tennis, or cycle along the coast to find your perfect secluded spot on the beach. Soak in the warm waters of the ocean or dip into the fresh and saltwater swimming pools. Indulge in ultimate tranquillity at the sanctuary that is the Six Senses Spa where you can enjoy two Arabian hammams, a relaxing lounge, a steam room and sauna, and an ice cave alongside bespoke treatments to rejuvenate your mind, body and soul.

Environmental & Social Responsibility

Sustainability and social care are integral to the ethos of Six Senses Zighy Bay, with multiple ideas and projects addressing needs within the area. Numerous activities such as ocean and beach clean-ups are coordinated as well as tree planting. Grey water from the hotel is treated and used to irrigate the surrounding area bringing life to a variety of trees and plants within the area as well as for growing the resort’s own produce. Plastic bottles have been replaced with glass alternatives, and fresh water is produced for this bottled water via reverse osmosis. Diving hosts are trained in removing littered fishing nets and efforts are made to study and protect the sea turtles who call the bay their home. The resort funds the provision of basic medical necessities for villagers and helped fund the local hospital’s new radiology unit. Lastly, but certainly not least, Six Senses Zighy Bay helps fund teaching assistance, infrastructural help and strategic edge within education in the local area with focus on programmes that are designed to improve women’s equality.
