Azure is the resort’s ultra-stylish restaurant serving western food with a combination of local and imported ingredients using modern and traditional cooking techniques. The central focus is the grill station, or Irori, which comes from the Japanese word “hearth”, where meat and fish are cooked on skewers. The main heat source is white charcoal known as Binch-zumi (binchō-zumi) or binchō-tan, a form of hardwood charcoal.
Kata
This signature Japanese restaurant is spread over two floors with a sleek, contemporary dining room on the ground floor serving Sushi, as well as Robatayaki dishes prepared on a Japanese izakaya charcoal grill and served with the chef’s selection of sauces. The upstairs bar is the ideal venue to gather and socialize with a menu of Japanese tapas paired with Japanese inspired cocktails and beverages.
Onu
As the original name of Onu in Maldivian means bamboo, the Pool Bar is made simply out of bamboo, wood and thatch and offer that laid-back pool bar vibe during the day where guests can relax on a lounge chair and sip exotic drinks while basking in the sun.
