Despite being halfway between the lively resorts of Cancun and Playa del Carmen, Puerto Morelos has retained much of its original fishing village atmosphere. Walk to the centre of town in around 15 minutes and browse the shops that dot the main square.
Cancun and Playa del Carmen are both around 40 minutes away from the resort by car. And Cancun International Airport can be reached in just under half an hour.
